Twin Air Aviation, LLC is pleased to welcome Ron Cox, CFII-MEI-ATP-Master Pilot, as Director of our turbine sales department.

Ron Cox has enjoyed a distinguished aviation career both in the military and civilian aviation world. Ron started his flying career in 1968 when he attended the US Army Rotary School at Ft. Wolters, Texas, and Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, GA. After training in the UH-1 and OH-6 helicopters, Ron completed a flying tour in Vietnam from 1969-1970. He remained in the US Army until 1985 and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. During Ron’s tenure in the Army, he also acquired his civilian ratings of ATP, CFI, CFII, and MEI with Commercial Ratings of Rotorcraft with Instrument privileges.

Ron has owned and operated many advanced GA aircraft throughout the years. Through flying in the military and civilian communities, he has accumulated more than 22,000 total flight hours in fixed and rotary aircraft.

Colonel Cox served as Training Center Manager at Piper Aircraft, Director of Training at Simcom Aviation Training Centers, and owner of Aviation Training Management, Inc. He presently owns and operates his own insurance-approved advanced single and twin pressurized reciprocating and turbine aircraft training aircraft company, Ron Cox Aviation Services, LLC.

Ron brings his broad turbine knowledge in both the fixed wing and rotary industry to Twin Air Aviation, LLC., as the Director of turbine sales.
